Ice fished Little Round north of Turtle lake today for the first time. Anybody know anything about this place? There is only one cabin on the lake and it is more of a mansion than a cabin. Wondering if they own all the land around the lake or something…
Only kept 5 bluegills and 2 crappies. Not much size to the ones we kept, and caught a bunch of dinks to. Only one flag, about a 24 inch pike. The dusk bite was not any good either, which was really weird.

    Pustol,

Use to fish there in high school through the ice. Would catch a ton of snakes. Run out of bait kind of fishing. Then people found out there were nice gills in there. The lake turned into a zoo for a couple years with 20-30 guys out there. With the size of the lake, fishing went to heck real quick. Even the northern fishing died quite a bit. Suprised you caught crappies. The best panfishing was always right in the middle straight out from the lone house
