Trego Fishing Contest

If anyone is around there and doing nothing.
I know its short notice but didnt figure anyone would be interested. Uncle Mike Bar is having their annual ice fishing contest. Boils down to tipups, good food and booze.
Lots of good food. Mostly venison. Everybody brings back straps. I’m bringing a whole one myself. Cash payout for biggest fish. Not sure if there is 2nd or 3rd place. Gull Lake east of Lampson. Mid-morning through mid-afternoon. Then move to the one bar on the lake and shake it down good before heading back to Unlce Mikes.

This weekend? I’ll be up.

I did this a couple years ago. Fun tournament. Not the typical ice tournament many are use too. Won’t be able to get up there this year either

Yes. This Sat. Definitely not your typical fishing contest. Way funner! After a couple ‘safety meetings’ everyone seems to get along with everyone else.

You can fish as serious as you want. Running for tipups is part of the fun. But this is definitely an eating event as well. Jeagerbombs away!!
