Went to Fox Lake to chase some crappies with a great freind last thursday. We driled some holes and put the vexilar in one of the holes and marked some fish so we sat down to fish . We got a couple of crappies withing minutes and also a perch. We were using ratfinkees and wax worms. The bite slowed down so we were on the move again. Drilled a line of holes for searching for schools of fish and one hole finally lit up like a christmas tree on the vexilar again.
Sat down to fish and we were pulling crappies out again and some perch and my buddy pulled out a nice walleye and a northern that both were released. The key to the day with the game fish in the area ,you had to keep on the move all the time till you marked some fish. We ended up with a meal for both of us and had a great time .

Good ol’ Fox Lake. Had some good times out there as a kid with the neighbour kid and his dad. Man we caught some nice bass out of there. Glad to see you did well

Nice bucket. I had similar success at Spring Lake S. of Prior – but got to add a couple of nice bluegills in the mix as well.
