Maybe you can give us an idea as to what waters you are interested in fishing. Or at the very least, what area of the State.

    Brian:

Fishing in the Minocqua area I am sure could be decent, but haven’t been doing much as of late… the last time I was out for ‘eyes, I spent a couple of hours on a main lake rock hump on top in 20′ of water and even though I was seeing fish, didn’t do much catchin’. It would seem the practical advice would be in deep holes along the edges for ‘eyes. Panfish should be suspending in the same types of areas, perch are using the weeds…

I know you to be river rat at times, that may be the right place. We all know spots where we get them first ice, they can’t be far from those spots right now. Most water temps are in the mid 40’s.

youve got me on the river ratt title,i think the water temps have been a major issue this fall, been a very slow cool down but things are going to change quickly here we’ll be ice fishin before you know it my local haunts are the flambeau flowage and flambeau river/price county stretches if things pick up youll be hearing from me….

You’re stuck with it!!! I am hoping we get rid of our two – three inches and start getting some ice. Although we are going to try to canoe one of our favorite first ice spots this weekend to see if there are any of those dumb walleyes in very shallow water wanting a jig.

Not much for hunting other than grouse so far. I through in dekes one afternoon and have been working on getting a doe or a small buck from my neighborhood (no baiting), just haven’t had any chances at that… Just working a lot which is good this time of year, cause I should be busy and I am seem to be!!!
