    October 8th was lights out. Kept 8 walleye but caught 30. One 17″ smallie got the hot grease release. it was delicious. it’s ok to take some of those smallies out of the flowage. there are LOTS of them

    Very nice pic!!! I got to Mannie Waters to grouse hunt on Sunday a.m., what seemed to be the pattern of choice for the above fishing??? Basins or channels???

    I visited a friend who just bought property in a condoized resort on a private lake over by Eagle River, 32 ‘eyes for the day, all too small, though they’d been great eaters on the TFF!!! 13″-14″ with shoulders!!! Caught ours on a break with fatheads and crawlers going down the break and did some trolling as well.

    We caught all these fish very shallow. We never fished more than 9 ft all day. Humps and wind blown shoreline. It was lights out fishing. We didn’t keep anything under 15″. Three close to 20″.
