Hey guys, thought I’d drop a line to see how things are going in this area? We have a family vacation coming up in that neck of the woods….not sure how much time I’ll get to fish, but I’m wondering what folks know about these fisheries.

I don’t need to fish the big waters either, in fact, for ease of finding fish faster, I might focus on some smaller water bodies. Walleyes, smallmouth, panfish, I’m equal opportunity.

I hear Red Cedar gets quite a bit of pressure and is a great smallmouth lake, but I’d like to find some eyes as well. Anyone pull cranks out there?

Done well nightfishing, there is a good size bar in the middle of Cedar, I can send you the coordinates if you’d like. Some great bass fishing to be had. Frenzys are great, anythying in the crawdad imitation is good on the lakes. Some big pans out there but they can be a little tough to find. Once again – fish it at night, atleast for the first few hours after sunset, fish the weed beds / edges you find during the day. Trolling is a good way to cover alot of water. The big weed bed off of the CC on the east side is a great spot also…
