Night bite?

I heard mentioned before, but what do you guy’s think the reason is winnie doesn’t have much of a night bite for walleyes? or does it?

For the most part it doesn’t really exist. I have tried the night bite a few times, and from my experience the bite just doesn’t happen. Each year though we hear of a report or two that someone tries it and finds a few. Year in and out if more people started doing it with some regularity, I think the bite might happen more then we think.
This is a question that I have asked myself more then once as I sit on Pokegama catching fish.
But as each lake is different, it seems that the best and most consistent bite on Winnie is from sun up to sundown. Its just not a night lake.
