Well as we make that corner towards the fall bite, it sure looks like the fish are starting to make there move. This weekend we finally seen some 14-17 inch fish, its been a while, but they are starting to show up again. Its to early yet to say that the numbers are still there, but we will surely find out over the next 6 weeks or so. Cutfoot is showing some good signs of life with Bob’s bar holding good numbers late in the day. The Highbanks area along with Bena bar and The northshore are all showing activity. It seems that some of the deeper rock piles on the Northshore are holding some of the best numbers. We did manage to find some numbers in the weeds as well. Jigs and Minnow were the best choice over the last few days, yet a few are still rigging with leeches and having luck. All be on Winnie a bunch over the next 6 weeks, during the day, and Pokegama at night, I will try to keep everyone posted on the latest, see ya out there.
