Spent a long weekend up in beautiful Northern Minnesota chasing fall walleyes. Fished mainly on Cut Foot, as their was no reason to fight the bigger rollers on winnie, and the bite seemed to be going stronger and the fish running bigger in Cut Foot anyhow. Surface water temp ran about 58.6. Choice of presentation was live bait rigs and jigs using both crawlers and minnows, rainbows and shiners definetly out produced the fatheads. Found fish widely scattered from 9-14 fow, however once found it was necescary to key in on spots on the spot, a quality mapping gps/sonar can be worth its weight in gold sometimes. Managed plenty of eaters as well as a few around 22.5″. All in all, a great trip in a beautiful area.
