Fishing remains to be about the same, consistent, as for the action bite on Winnie right now. Most of the shorelines are holding good numbers, yet most of the fish being brought to the boat are in that 12-13 inch range. Jigs and minnows are still producing along with spinners and crankbaits.
The pike action comes and goes, but as those tulipees move to the weeds look for the pike and muskies to really start getting aggressive. Last week, Jeff Skelly caught a 50 inch musky, so things are starting for those big skies.
The magnum perch are somewhat spread out as some are being located in the 10-12 foot rock area while some of the midlake sand humps are holding them in that 24-26 foot of water.
Well hope to see ya on the water.
