Well back from vacation as my family and I spent a week at Bowens Lodge on Winnie and now I’m back to it. Didn’t do much fishing last week but when I did we found numbers of those 2000 class fish out on the midlake structure and some of them are pushing 13 inches already. By August some of them should be pushing 14 inches…boy this fall the bite could or should be awesome. It seems the best bite right now is on those rigs with leeches or crawlers. Rig length seems to be the key. from 6-10 foot, one must keep changing the length until you get bite, then if the bite slows change it again.
