Winnie any thing happening?

Any fish reports or has the big winnie died

Winnie has been pretty good. Both for numbers and size if you are looking for perch

Have you fished there or going by what others write> We tried it last year and were disappointed but are going to try again end of the week. Want to give it all the chances we can. Thanks

Hi Scott. Have you been having better luck along the shoreline flats or out on the main lake structure deep? From what I have been hearing most guys are having better luck a little shallower than I would expect for this time of year. Thanks.

Fished Winnie over the weekend cold windy stayed inside the huts all day didnt move much and caught a ton of fish had a great time. This was in thanks to Tamarack lodge he put us on fish and helped us have a great time. We got there in sub zero weather at 530am woke him up he was helpful from the start wouldnt hesitate to go there again Thanks……

Sounds like you had fun. What area did you fish and what was the hot bait?

We fished out of Tamarack lodge about a mile out in the lake in 15 feet of water dont know what they call the area. I had a lot of lures tied up to use but forgot to pack them used a red hook and split shot and did quite well on it wish I had some jigs but they didnt make the trip. Maybe next year was wanting to try jiggin spoons for walleyes.
