Yep, Monday evening the hatch finally took place. The lake was loaded with floating carcuses yesterday, but it great to see the fish still wanting to bite. We had a great day again yesterday, with most of the fish coming from 27-30 feet on a rig with leeches, but a few did come off of the thumper jigs and minnows.
Boy this is the first year that I can remember when the fish continue to bite through the hatch, I would say it has to do with the number of fish, which is contributed to the successful slot limit on the lake. Is anyone else seeing this success, even on Milacs did the hatch seem to slow things down or not?
