Does anyone fish muskies on Winne

I am looking for info on when and where to fish muskies in Winne. (The state record did come out of the lake)

Lots of great spots to fish these giant fish. Winnie seems to produce the best in late July and through the month of August. The weedlines on the east and North shore seems to be the most predictable. Also the river channel which runs out towards Tamarack point is another great spot. The weedline that seems to hold fish is in 4-5 feet of water and the fish hold close to that. There are a few patches of cabbage weeds on the south end of the lake that have a tendancy to hold fish as well. Amazingly enough not that many people hit Winnie, even though the State Record is from this body of water….Good Luck
