Two of us are going to Winnie this Friday nite. Heard you had lots of snow this past weekend. Can you still get around on the big lake. Where do I go to drive onto the lake? Who plows the lake anyway.

Nodaks Lodge is a good place to go when heading out on Winnie. There are a few other resorts on the south shore that plow roads out to the hot spots, but I would try Nodaks. We did get a bunch of snow over the weekend, but with the high winds most of the snow piled up along the shorelines, but there are still some fairly large drifts in spots on the lakes. Follow the roads and be careful when venturing off the heavy traffic areas, mainly for deep snow.
