Anybody fish muskies on Winnie? If so how have you done and how have you fished?

Muskie on winnie. On an average year the muskie fishing can be decent, but not that many hit winnie for them. The best time of the year seems to be in July and August with August being the best. The East shore on Winnie seems to be one of the better spots on the lake from the High Banks Resort to Muskie Bay and even a bit south of that. Artificials plugs seems to work great. Northland Bonic Bucktails are one of the most common baits used. There are a number of shallow weed patches along this shoreline and this would be a great place to start.
