I was at Winnie last Friday and Sat. Two of us got our limits of 10 to 13 inch perch in the trench off center bar. We caught around 100 each both days. We kept our 20 per day. We caught fish in 24 to 26 feet of water on a minnow and slip bopbber and also on a glow jig with half a minnow about a foot off the bottom. If anyone would like GPS info where we were send me an e-mail and I’ll give them to you. This was the best perch fishing that I have had at Winnie in the past 4 years. We also got a few northerns. There was about 24 inches of ice.

Hey Elkmantom, Thanks for the gps coords. We hit Winnie Friday day time and caught some nice perch,We then headed to Upper Red for the crappies and boy are they nice and a blast to catch. Thanks and give Upper Red a try if you get a chance. Get on the lake about 4:00 and get set up. A lot of fun. Steve
