I am headed up to northern Minnesota, June 1st through the 5th. I am planning on going to LOW or Winnie. Is fishing better on one versus the other right now? I am not sure how the warm weather next week will impact the fishing on either body of water.

Have you considered Red Lake? Is sounds like it doesnt get much better than that right now.

Hands down my vote goes for Winnie. You should be able to get walleyes on the bars, or shoreline areas with the right wind direction. And if you get tired of that, Cutfoot has some FANTASTIC panfishing that time of year. I wish I was going…..

I am going!!! Nine of us are heading to Winni on Thurs. the 1st. and coming back Sunday the 4th. If things are slow on Winni, we may make a run up the road to Red for a day. If you choose Winni we are at High Banks in the cabin next to the boat launch. Look for a tan/brown Smokercraft walk thru with a 75 merc. and Wis. registration. Always willing to trade info., and maybe a beer. If you choose Winni bring plenty of jigs and shiners. Hopefully they are justa snappin

I would go to Red. Your going to drive right by it. Stop and fish it for a couple hours you will see…………….
