Ice Conditions / Info

    I’m looking for some options for next weekend. A group of guys are pulling a fish house out somewhere for the weekend, and would like some good ice. Our original plan was Mille Lacs, but we need a Plan B. Any info on Winny would be appreciated. Thanks,

    the weekend of new years there was 16″ to 18″. I didn’t drive out…wanted to get some miles on the sled. give roger a call at nodak lodge 218-665-2226

    How was the fishing? Did you target perch and walleye? Were the perch out deep or shallow?

    Last weekend there is about 18″ good solid ice out there now. people are driving out. not much for slush or water on top. lots of perch and northerns in the 13 – 16′ range. walleye for me were hard to come by, I did hear a report of some nice crappies out of the narrows.
