Hey guys I am planning an ice fising trip to Winnie for some work buddies and I and could sure use some advice on a resort.
We are not too picky but a full kitchen is a must. One of the guys is somewhat of a gourmet and will be cooking all our meals. Our cabin would also have to be large enough for 5-7 people.
Thank you in advance for you assistance.

Also, none of us have fished there so any ice fishing tips would be greatly appreciated. We will be targeting perch and walleyes.

I would go with Becker’s Resort. Very friendly and will help you out with just about anything you need. Heated fish cleaning area and the cabins are plenty big enough for 6-8 people. More could fit in if you bring a cot or two. They are about the cheapest on the lake also which is a bonus as there service is as good as anybodies.

Check out 4-seasons. I have stayed there for the past 5-6 years or so. Reasonable rates with everything you need.

I would agree with the big fish in Bena. Cabins are nice, prices were reasonable. Donovan let me use his truck the day the temps dipped below -40 deg. and my wifes Jeep was dead, dead, dead. While we were out fishing he brought our car into his shop, thawed it out a bit and got it going, then drove it out to us. I thought that was pretty decent.
I’ll be back this winter for sure. Was talking to my Dad about it tonight as a matter of fact. Good Luck wherever you decide to go.
