As promised here is my report. Wish there was more to report, but here it is. Thursday drifted the shore in front of Bowens in 8-16 fow. Black jig and shiner was the winner in 11-13 fow with two over 20″. Friday spent some time near Bowens with little success, then went to the N/W shore near I think it was the Mallard hump? for some perch and not much going there. Spent Friday evening in front of High Banks in 10-16 fow with 14-15 being key where we finally found some eaters. Saturday morning we worked in front High Banks again until we heard some thunder. It then became beer drinking and casino day, not that the other days weren’t drinking days mind you. Unfortunately and fortunately the casino was better to us then the fish . Biggest fish of the trip was 24″ with 7-8 in the 20′ range, but not great numbers. Still had a good time as always with good friends fishing. I would like to recommend the High Banks resort as a clean, friendly, and reasonably priced place to enjoy a few days. This was our first time there, and it was great. The worst part about the whole deal is it’s 9 1/2 months until we are back up for ice fishin. Good luck all, and hope this helps somebody.
