Could you think of worse conditions for opener? Didn’t seem to bother the fish, it was slower than normal for our group, but at the end of the day the size and numbers were really good. We had our best luck in Cut Foot in 12 FOW, bigger fish were deeper. My dad managed to get a 25.5 eye and that was our biggest fish. Fished the NE corner of the lake and got some fish but, action was slow. All in all another great opener. Jigs and lindys with shiners worked best.
