Winnie 3-17 thru 3-19

Fishing was good. 6 guys. Thursday we had 80 keepers near Zoomers. Tried Zoomers Friday morning with not much to show after 2 hours. Headed to an area northwest of Center. had our limit by 4:00. Went back to this area Saturday. We needed 80 to finish our limits after our fish fry and had them by 1:00. Caught some on jigging spoons but tipdowns with small hooks or teardrops and a small fathead worked best. Very good overall size. 30 to 35 feet of water.

Thanks for the report. How was it getting around on the ice? Can trucks get around anywhere or is a sled or atv needed?

We took trucks anywhere we wanted. We were warned we could get stuck but had the equipment along to get out in case we did. We never had any problems though.
