Anyone been fishing?

We are heading up Jan. 14-17. Just wondering how everyone has been doing? How’s the ice? You can pm me if you like also.

Don’t know yet, but I am going up in the morning for a few days. I will let you know what I find.

Eleven of us were up from the 26th-29th. Stayed at Sunset and found fishing toughest we have seen in 10 plus years. Ice varied from 7-13 inches. Fished old gps spots from last year and lots of small perch, a few northerns and a couple of eyes. Depths ranged from 9-32 feet. Had best luck on Halis tipped with spikes. We all had cameras and there were plenty of fish down there but few takers.

Was out Fri Jan 7. Road was only plowed out a couple miles. Not much for options. Nobody was getting them.

Thanks, we are heading up Friday morning and fishing through Sunday. We are going to have a cold weekend. So what do the fish up there do when it gets that cold. I have an idea, but never been there.
