Well sorry for my lack of information over the last couple of months. I have finally seen most of my house project completed, I am getting much more comfortable in a new job and just in time for ice. But now I am days maybe hours from having are second child. The Due date is 12/21, so I will be hanging close to the phones and home at this point.
With are first night of below zero temps last night the ice making machine is starting. At this point the only ice fishing waters are coming from the smaller lakes in the area. If we continue to see cooler temps this coming week, I would expect some of the first ice anglers to be venturing out to find those Winnie perch and walleyes.
At this point I have looked at most of my ice gear but I likely won’t be hitting the ice for another couple of weeks.
Happy Holidays and bring on those cold ice making nights.

Just thinking of you last night Sean. I was wondering if the bun was out of the oven yet…still browning I guess.

What a great time in a persons life…this might sound odd…but take videos…you won’t regret it!

Thanks for the emails. We had a long night last night, but still no Baby. The start of sleepless nights I think is here, but what a great time to loose some sleep. I will keep ya informed.

    Hey Sean,
Just wanted to send along my prebirth congrads, hope everything goes well and all are healthy and happy. My twins are a year old now and I’m just starting to be able to sleep through the night. I just keep thinking how great it will be to introduce them to the world of fishing and hunting.

Just think, in about 20 years your children and mine will be competing against each other on the WWT. Sounds awesome doesn’t it? Hope you and your family have an awesome holidays!!! Tom Howell
