I did not make the cut for the second day of the RCL Leech Lake Tournament so J.D. (Niteeye)and I decided to try our luck on Lake Winnie. J.D. hammered a bunch of perch and one small eye. I managed to land this pike which put up quite the fight as it jumped straight out of the water within just a few feet of the boat.
You must have caught that one while doing dishes? 
I noticed the nice baby blue gloves and figured I had to say somthing smart. 
Can’t stand pike slime not to mention sliced hands on gill plates.

Those are some fairy nice gloves. You should borrow Suzuki a pair so he can handle his big cats. 
Actually I got them from a guy who works for a window company, they are used for handling glass & they also work good for pulling up anchor rope out of cold water & for handling slimmers.
Oh, I don’t know. I think those purple ones that Mike W had were a little nicer.
