    How’s the ice? How’s the fishing? Any reports?

    Highbanks has reported 11-12″ of ice 4 miles out. They are predicting to open the access to trucks on the 30th. Sunday and Monday will be great days for making ice. I think we will be taking our jeep our there this weekend, give it another week for the big trucks.

    I have only heard of one walleye report and they did pretty well on the first break in 21-24 fow. There has been a lot of guys fishing the shallows(8-10′) for perch and they must be doing well cause I have seen the same vehicles back at the landing.

    I am headed up there tonight. Plan on doing some spearing in the morning and then headed out for eyes in the afternoon
