Well as of 45 minutes ago there were 2 houses off of 21st ave east, out there in 35 fow or so with canoes next to their houses. This ice is mainly pack ice so i wouldn’t recommend just running out there, im just saying there were some ppl out there this am.

The lester is fishable from shore right now at 10 am. There are some chunks of ice floating around but its 95% open and good to float a bobber out there.

As of yeaterday, there was ice at the french, but around midday she moved out, and it was fish able from shore. This is yesterdays data so things may have changed.

***Conditions change by the hour so dont hold me to it when you go to the lester and there is 5 inches of ice lol***

This east wind brought in a lot of slush/junk ice. The lester and a ways up the shore in unfishable. there was one guy attempting to walk off of 21st, but with an east wind and waves, that ice will do the same thing it did in saxon, so i wouldn’t go out far.

The Lester River is ice fish-able right now. Im not saying its safe, but its fish-able. Could be a different story tomorrow with the east wind coming. Stay safe!

The Mcquade is open and a boat or two are going out about every day there are light seas. I may poke my head out there next week, sounds like a warm up is coming. Some great reports coming from guys that have been out.
