    Loons Foot 8-7-10

Hit the water about 530 and ran out to the Cliffs, 75 degree water. Started in 60′ with boards with the following- 2 color and spoon, a 3 color and spoon, bomber T stick orange w/blk squiggle, bomber T stick hot F tiger and 2 riggers with spoons @ 30′ and 45′ down.
Worked out to 80′ for a while and turned toward the cliffs and ran that in to 30′. Turned and went to state line at 130′ and pulled the plug around 1pm. Speed 2.6-3 gps

went 4/5. 2 kings-(4#) on orange and squiggle bomber, laker on Kavorkian (rigger) in 40′ and the other on F tiger bomber. lost a fish on a 3 color with silver, green, blue spoon.

My first king ever for my boat was stolen by my GF…

    2 hrbrs 8-8-10

Slept the fog off a bit too late and did not drop in till 8am.
Water was 53-49 degrees, East wind.
Went ran NE about 2 miles and set lines in 240′. 1 rigger down 40′ with monkey puke. 3 board lines (no lead) with bombers, orange w/blk squiggle, pink lots a dots and silver w/ blue lightning. Speed 2.6-3 gps.

By far silver was the ticket with 2 kings (5#) and a dandy 27″ steelhead. pink/dots took a coho. going 4/6 loosing a silver after doing a tripple sow cow behind the board and a ho just before the net.

It was awsome to hear the reel scream then see all the kings and steelhead doing arial acrabatics.

Awesome report Mark. Glad you had some luck. There was some nasty fog up that way this weekend.
