My wife and myself will be going to the south shore of Lake Superior next week near Washburn, WI. We’d like to know if there is any fishing from shore on Lake Superior ? ? ?
What kinda bait / lure would be best, would be appreciated.

It has been many years since I have been up there,but I used to do a dead rod with smelt and casted both bluefox spinners and spoons like little cleos.Make sure the dead rod is secured! 
The smelt thing might work as a time passer, but you should be able to find some real good smallie action along the shorelines. Late/very early morning of the day you may find laker action in fairly close and shallower especially if you have clouds. I’d focus on the smallies, but the lakers will hit antthing you toss for the bass given the right lighting conditions.
