Duluth Area.

How have guys been doing in the area. I am making my annual trip up this weekend. Normally we go for steelies in the rivers, but it looks like that may be over with by now with all the warmer temps and not alot of rain. Basically, I am looking for some place to catch fish. Any Fish. Any insite would help.

Try the big lake from shore at river mouths. Crawlers or spawn sacks.

Thanks for the info, do you know if the numbers of fish reported include the numbers of fish caught at the mouth of the rivers in the lakes? We have also had success going after coho’s off the peir in canal park. How has that been thus far?

The pier is starting to slow down. One day it is great and the next day its dead. It hasnt been very consistant lately. Id recommend fishing off the wisconsin peirs over the canal park ones right now. I feel there are alot more fish down there ans plus if its a weekend the canal park ones will be packed with ppl. The rivers are very low right now and plus the suckers are running so it may be tough fishing in there. There are some fish left tho!
