well the coho are into the duluth area and we pounded them today in about 15 fow. they seem to be running bigger this year which is nice….we got quite a few 18 to 20 inchers. All the landings on the n shore are open and one is open in the duluth harbor. Boats are going out of mcquade daily with lakers being caught. There were a few boats out of the duluth entry today also.

i will probably be in the rivers or coho fishin. I think there is alot higher percent of catching a steelie or looper right now if you are in the rivers. give me a call 218 348 0682 and we will see whats goin on.

Put some coho in the box again this morning. She was a foggy one but got the job done! There is alot of mud out there, all the way out to 65 fow.

The coho are still going strong along with the lake trout picking up fast too! Walleyes in the st louis are tough to come by so far this week but hopefully things will change. Coho’s are going good not that far outside the superior entry. 40 to 80 feet on boards and some being caught on dispeys. As always, pink, silver and orange are the better colors.

The lake trout are going very well up in two harbors. Plenty of reports with 10 to 16 fish in a half day/day. A few are being caught out of the mcquade, both with sticks on top and riggers on the bottom. The summer patterns are starting to kick into gear now. Out the superior entry is a mudfest with all the rain we have gotten lately. Watch out for trees and other junk in the water if you head out. A few coho are still around but are moving up the shore more and more every day.

We fished Saturday morning and an hour into the afternoon and came home with our limit of trout. 74 feet was the magic number for us. We launch from Two harbors.
