Went out on Saturday and Sunday mornings. More or less we were just trying out the equipment for a Michigan run in a couple weeks. Surprisingly and accidentally we picked up 2/6-7lbs. Kings. Hmmmm. So we went back on Sunday reproduced what we did the day before and caught 2 more plus 4 nice Lakers to boot. They all liked a CG spoon we call Cotton Candy, light purple and pink ran at 30′, on down rigger, in 30 to 60′ of water around 2.5 mph. I was amazed by the lack of boat traffic and even more the lack of people catching fish. We weren’t doing any thing special and it wasn’t fast and furious, but not bad for a 4 hour run. Definately going back late August.
