Duluth area fishing

    Looking for info on fishing superior or other area lakes for lake trout, salmon and walleye. Mid-summer-fall. Never been in the area before so any info at all would be appreciated.

    Check out the St louis River. between Duluth and Superior great walleye fishing.

    There’s a ton of great walleye lakes up there. Island, Seven Beavers and Green wood just to mention a few. Most of the fishing I do up there is in pretty shallow water 7ft or less trolling spinner rigs and bottom bouncers with crawlers or fatheads. Beautiful country, but defineatly not the place to be flying around a lake if you don’t know it. Rocks and boulders aplenty.
