Unfortunately the local rivers are for the most part flowing over their banks. The quick snow melt and recent rains have caused the Brule, Sioux, Fish Creek etc to remain high and muddy and basically little steelhead fishing is taking place. There are reports of major flooding in the Hurley/Ironwood area. We had some rain last night and forecast is for a full day of rain tomorrow. (Thurs 18th) Steelhead fishing should become excellent as soon as the rivers settle down.
