    Does anyone have any information, or know where I can find out about fishing off of Madeline Island or the Apostle Island’s? I’ll be up there for a week the end of July. I’m looking for some real broad information: where can I find a good nav chart, are there any fishing maps showing community spots, any tips on techiniques for that time of year. Thanks in advance!!

    There are a couple of good bait shops in the Bayfield/Ashland area. One is Outdoor Allure:
    Outdoor Allure site
    They are a reliable source of info, equipment and bait; I visit them every time I fish that area.

    brooktrout stated well, Outdoor Allure is fairly reliable, the bay fishing is relatively slow at this time of the year, you will probably want to get into the islands at this time of year. Good Luck
