Looks like another weekend of fishable waters on the big lake! Winds are projected to be 10 to 20 out of the south tomorrow.

The mud has moved off shore a little bit as you can see from this image from yesterday. To be honest, there are not many fish tucked in the corner of Duluth anymore. Most of the action is 7 or 8 miles out over 120 fow or more.

With the projected winds tomorrow, if you have a smaller boat i would stick to the south shore, a 15 mph s wind can make er pretty bumpy on the north shore! That south shore is a different program, but there are a lot of fish down there none the less. Your chances of walleyes, salmon and browns are a lot higher as well.

Lets hope for some good reports and stay safe! Lots of good water out there right now. This is by far my favorite time of year as the fish are easily accessable and willing to bite just about anything! If the pattern holds, the fish have been a little deeper than normal so riggers set 40 to 70 feet may not be a bad idea
