smelt run Lake Michigan

    Can anyone tell me when the smelt run comes to the Lake Michigan.

    Originally from Manitowoc Wi right on the lakeshore, the smelt run there has died…..Haven’t had a good run there in almost 20 years, but I know they have luck in Mi and up in the sturgeon bay area. Usually starting up pretty soon here.
