Can anyone out there point a guy in the right direction for catching splake in October along the south shore of Lake Superior? Any feedback on locations and tactics would be appreciated.

Cant say i have ever done it, but I have heard of some great reports. From what i know, it seems like boom or bust. Timing is everything and there are just a few days that they are around and everything has to line up. Its a tough bite to get on but if you do it would be memorable. In shallow with sticks wil lproduce these fish, although it varies on daily conditions as to how deep to be.
