Any action for anything from the shore duluth to two harbors area? Thinking about trying to wet a line this weekend.

Yes people have been doing very good as the 2 Harbors pier is on fire right now for coho’s. Secondly, this is always my favorite time of year for looper fishing off the french or lester. There are quite a few fish around and not many people fishing them as compared to march or april.

Wouldn’t know where to start with lures, but this sounds like fun while the kids are looking for aggets. Any suggestions for lures to throw?

Well I made it up for a few hours Thursday and remind me to check weather even if shore fishing. Wind was so bad that I had problems casting. It was even hard just standing up while fishing the breakwall. No fish cought, but it was nice compared to looking down a little 8 inch hole. Lol.

Hopefully ill be back up there again soon.

Anything is better than looking down an 8″ hole…makes me feel like a skin diver for Roto-Rooter getting ready to go to work.

About the wind. On that breakwater, when a breeze is noticed on shore, its going to be hurricane force out on that structure. Just the nature of things up there.
