    Anytime you can

I have done late May early June with great success
James has done the fall bite and did fantastic as you can see in the video forum.
If it was me either of these would be my personal choice. I hear the summer bite gets harder as some of the fish suspend over deeper water.
A great guide for that area frequents these forums and is full of fantastic info that he shares with our members. He should chime in when he gets time.

Gee Ron…wish you were talking bout me

Chris Beeksma guided James in the video and there is none better. Ron is right…the masses fish Kakagon bay and the Sand Cut in the spring but the bass are not there in concentrations during the summer. The spread over the Bay and relate to other structure and much deeper.
A trip with Chris is worth 100X what you will pay in fishing knowledge of Cheq Bay Smallies…I have taken several…These Smallies are from a May outing fishing with Chris (He is the guy in the middle) the gentleman on the left is Brian Long (another awesome area guide) and thats my sleek Smallie in the big EGO net…
