Guided yesterday on Lake Superior, it was a great day of fishing, we started at 6 am trolling in 30-60 feet of water, all of our lures were running in the top 10 feet of the water column. early in the morning all of our fish came on reef runner ripsticks and Dave’s Ka-Boom Shiners. later in the morning all of our fish came on 00 Dodger with a peanut fly behind a dipsy diver right at the boat. We ended our morning at about 9:30-10:00 with 15 coho salmon and 3 steelhead that we released, they were up to 25 inches long. We also lost another 6 fish I think it was. we had our first fish on in the morning, as we got to the spot, let back our first lure, snapped a board on it, an literally we were hooked up on our first coho of the morning! It was a crazy morning, all just before the rain started and the wind switched and got a bit colder, it was just a case of the right spot at the right time. It was a lot of fun!
Good luck,
