Anyone coming up to do some smelting here in a week or so? The smelt aren’t here quite yet, possibly another week or so. Sounds like we will get some nice weather at the end of the week here, and that should be enough to warm the water up to what the smelt like. Was down on park point last night checking things out. From what i heard the netters in the Ashland area are doing okay.
With all the regulations and restrictions on them now, how many of you who have smelted in the past have said forget it? There is not much of an incentive to do it anymore.
