We’re ice free now down here in the “bay” area. Second landing is still locked in a bit, but everything else is free and clear (with the occasional ice berg floating, always pay attention during this early season). With that, fishing has been pretty good. From Saxon, all the way around the corner to Port Wing, we are fishing.

WTG Jim!!! Jeff G. was up to Saxon and got his limit of cohos along with one brown. He went on Saturday so I couldn’t make it up and right now I am tearing my decking apart to get my boat ready for the ‘eye opener, so my chances to go are not good in the upcoming period.
I got your cell number in my phone now and was going to give you a call before your Namekagon class, just was unable to get it done. Sounds like Jeff is going to try to make your Gogebic class, something I wished I would have time and money to do!!!
