    How thick is the ice?

    Not sure of AL yet but heard fountain had spotty 3″ yesterday.Not safe enough yet and the channel area of AL probably going to take awhile with current through there,I may be down there in the am and will follow up later in the day.

    Ice conditions do not look good yet,Too much snow/slush on thin ice at this time.Very few places that there is even foot prints from anyone testing the ice.Saw one portable near shore in the channel and tracks from one that ventured off the landing a ways.Gonna be a bit yet before I risk the polar plunge.
