I spent a few hours fishing Kelly-Dudley today and the 3 inch gills are on the chew. Okay, so it wasn’t the most exciting fishing I’ve done this winter, but it was quality time on the ice with family. We also set out a couple of tip-ups and were rewarded with a few pike and bonus bass. The biggest fish were in the mid/upper 20’s, which is a good size fish for this body of water. Pike came on both suckers and smelt. We also tried Fox for a couple of hours and all I was able to pull through the ice was one perch. This was my first time on Fox and it’s a body of water I’ll have to try fishing again.
