Has anyone had some luck with the fall fishing. Isn’t it about that time of year?

Great TGIF? Are you getting any or has it slowed down since the weather switched to a Mid-July environment?

I was out a few nights ago on a semi-fish-goose chase. I was out on cannon but the shallow flats were loaded with carp. I snagged into them on almost every cast at times. I only managed a couple shorties on minnows. Water is still fairly dirty on cannon. So I’m looking for a bright clear night to pull some baits for ‘eyes. Tetonka may be another lake to take a shot at. TGIF

It’s been tough fishing. I was unable to launch my boat on Cannon Lake by Faribo due to low water. Smaller boats or duck boats still can be put in at the public access. Some smaller walleyes are hitting fatheads/shiners cast from shore or one here or there on a crankbait if theres not a pile of leaves blown into the shoreline. Crappies were on a tear fishing from shore in shallow hard bottom current areas. Some eater size walleyes being caught off best point on Tetonka.

All lakes in area are low….be cautious about launching if you haven’t been to a particular lake in awhile. TGIF
