Lake Madison

HAs anybody fished Madison lake lately? I’m looking for some tips on whats working up there. Last time I was there we pulled some nice eye’s out of the weeds along the banks. Thats been a few years now, we also pulled some nice bass out of the wooded area’s along the shore. Thanks for any help Jim

Can’t help with the bass, but there’s alot of walleyes. Most are on the subpar side but still some nice ‘eyes. I would look at fishing the evening into night pulling cranks as the water starts to cool or casting cranks, jigs w/bait or larger plastics to remaining weedlines where theres a decent wind blowin in.
