I have been fishing Lake tetonka for Bass every couple of days the last two weeks and wanted to let everyone know how I was doing. Not being a great bass guy I have been having some good success with hitting the docks in the clearest water I can find. The lake is starting to green up so I have been paying attention to the wind as this clouds up and clears up different areas throughout the week. I have been doing three different things, pitching a half ounce jig (black and blue colored) with a 3 inch flipping craw from culprit on the back under and alongside the docks that have at least some weeds in the local area has been very productive so far the last two weeks. In between the docks I have been working a quarter ounce swim jig with a 5 inch curly tail on the back at break neck speeds right under the surface to catch those fish hanging out away from the docks. Lastly we have been having limited success with fishing large spinnerbaits in dark colors around the docks and over the tops of the submerged vegetation. The fish have been averaging good size with a couple pushing a solid 19 inches plus. I attached a picture of the kid who was out with me last week and a nice fish he pulled out from under one of the docks. I did make it out for three hours last night but the water was very turned up from all the powerboats, we did manage a few fish with one around three pounds but it was slower as you would expect from all the people on the lake.
Good luck and I will try to update after this weekend for anyone interested.
