Well, between the long days at work and the numerous projects around the house, I have not been able to visit the best site on the web that often. However, I have made it out on the water a few times.

Close to home, i have been out on Byllesby. We have had limited success, catching an eye here or there with a few crappies every so often. Bright colored hooks or lures have had the best success.

The last few weekends, I have ventured down to the Faribault area. Was out on Roberds, man is that lake getting full of milfoil . While lindy rigging along the sand points and humps, we managed to get a couple nice eyes 17-19″. Then along the northern shorelines on the edge of the weed beds, the panfish are numerous, but fairly small.

My most recent trips, have been out on Kelly-Dudley. The pan fishing has been excellent. The sunnies are extremely numerous, bright colored hooks and a healthy worm have been key . In about 5 fow on the edge of the lilly pads on Dudley. The sunnies are numerous, but most are fairly small, but few nice ones are to be caught. With the bright hooks and worms, we have caught sunnies, crappies, and bass (and a bullhead or two ). Havn’t had a lot of success trolling, but havn’t tried too hard. Kelly is quite infested with milfoil, but Dudley isn’t bad, yet .

Plannin on taking Pops down to Cedar in Rice this weekend for Father’s Day. I havn’t fished that lake yet, any suggestions?

Good luck to all on the water, and let’s here some more reports!

Have been chasing walleyes on beaver lake and having some luck the last hour or so of daylight while shore/pier fishing.13″ to 16″ fish with a few really small ones mixed in.fatheads have been the bait to use for us on floating jigs or plain hooks with slip sinkers.weekdays when the boat/jetski traffic is light has also been the best time.
